    From the Queen Street Mall, walk north towards King George Square. Brisbane City Hall is located on the eastern side of the square. Enter via the main entrance and take the lift to Level 3. Entry to the museum is free.

    The closest bus station to Brisbane City Hall is King George Square. Many bus routes stop here. From the bus station, walk towards Brisbane City Hall located on the eastern side of the square. Alight at Adelaide Street Stop 20 at City Hall. The Museum is located on Level 3. Use the lift to get to the museum. The closest train stations are Central and Roma Street. From either station, it is a short walk to City Hall.

    Ask your driver to take you to Brisbane City Hall on Adelaide Street. The nearest accessible drop-off zone is on the corner of Ann Street and Roma Street. The Museum of Brisbane (MoB) sits at the heart of the city, located on Level 3 of the iconic Brisbane City Hall. Since its opening in 2003, MoB has been dedicated to sharing the stories of Brisbane, its people, and its places. MoB replaced the Brisbane City Gallery in 2003 and after a period at Ann Street, reopened in 2013 in a purpose-built space in the City Hall. The museum manages both the Museum of Brisbane Collection and the City of Brisbane Collection, which started in 1859, and has grown to over 9,000 items. These collections include commissioned works by local artists, historical objects, and the largest textile collection from designers Easton Pearson. Visitors can explore a range of ever-changing exhibitions that celebrate Brisbane's social history, visual arts, craft, and design. MoB also hosts workshops, talks, guided tours and children's activities. The museum is known for its innovation and international practice, offering a fresh and engaging experience for all.
