Getting There

• Public Transport

  To reach the Brisbane Sign from the Brisbane Central Business District (CBD), start by walking to the nearest bus stop or train station. The South Brisbane Train Station is the closest to the sign. From Brisbane Central Station, take the train to South Brisbane Station, which is just a few minutes away. Once you arrive at South Brisbane Station, exit the station and head towards the Cultural Centre. Follow the signs to the South Bank Parklands. The Brisbane Sign is located near the South Bank Parklands, specifically at the corner of Grey Street and Little Stanley Street. It is a short 10-minute walk from the station.

• Walking

  If you are in the South Bank area, the Brisbane Sign is easily accessible on foot. From the South Bank Parklands, head towards the riverfront and follow the pathways leading to the sign. You will see the sign located prominently at the intersection of Grey Street and Little Stanley Street. This should take you about 5-10 minutes depending on your starting point within the parklands.

• CityCat Ferry

  For a scenic route, consider taking the CityCat ferry. Board the ferry at any of the stops along the Brisbane River, such as the North Quay or the Brisbane Botanic Gardens stop. Ride the ferry towards the South Bank stop. Once you disembark at the South Bank ferry terminal, walk towards the South Bank Parklands. The Brisbane Sign is just a short 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal, located at the end of Little Stanley Street.
