    Starting from the Byron Bay Main Beach, head west along Jonson Street until you reach the intersection with Lawson Street. Turn left onto Lawson Street and continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Skinners Shoot Road. Follow Skinners Shoot Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Cumbebin Swamp Nature Reserve will be on your left. Look for the entrance sign.

    From Byron Bay Main Beach, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike hire shops. Head west on Jonson Street, then turn left onto Lawson Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, taking the third exit onto Skinners Shoot Road. Keep cycling along Skinners Shoot Road for about 1.5 kilometers. The entrance to Cumbebin Swamp Nature Reserve will be on your left; there are bike racks available at the entrance.
