If you are starting from the Byron Bay town center, head east on Jonson Street towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Carlyle Street, which will turn into Lighthouse Road. Follow this road until you see the signs for the Byron Bay Lighthouse. From there, you can walk along the coast towards the Cape Byron Headland. However, since Murwillumbah is located to the north of Byron Bay, you will eventually need to make your way to the nearest bus stop to catch a bus heading to Murwillumbah.
