The Mareeba Heritage Museum and Visitor Information Centre is located at 345 Byrnes Street, Mareeba. If you are already in the town center, it is easily accessible by foot. From the main intersection of Byrnes Street and Rankin Street, walk along Byrnes Street, and the museum will be on your left within Centenary Park. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes. There are no costs involved.

Trans North Bus & Coach Service operates between Atherton and Cairns, stopping at towns in between, including Mareeba. Check the Trans North timetable for specific arrival and departure times at the Mareeba stop. From the bus stop on Byrnes Street, the Mareeba Heritage Museum and Visitor Information Centre is a short walk. Head east on Byrnes Street, and the museum will be on your left within Centenary Park. A single bus fare within Mareeba is approximately $3 - $5 AUD.
