Get off at the stop nearest to Collins Avenue, close to Cairns Botanic Gardens. From there, walk along Collins Avenue towards the Botanic Gardens entrance, where you will find the Rainforest Boardwalk.

Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Cairns, such as Cairns Bike Tours and Rentals on Spence Street. Head north on Spence Street until you reach the Esplanade. Turn left on the Esplanade and follow it until you reach the Botanic Gardens. From the entrance of the Botanic Gardens, follow the signs to the Rainforest Boardwalk, which is located along Collins Avenue.

If you are staying in the city center, you can walk to the Rainforest Boardwalk. Head towards the Esplanade and follow it north until you reach the intersection with Collins Avenue. Turn left onto Collins Avenue and continue walking until you reach the entrance of the Cairns Botanic Gardens. The Rainforest Boardwalk can be accessed from within the gardens.
