From the Cairns City Centre, head to the Cairns Central Station (located on McLeod Street). Look for the Sunbus services. Take the bus number 100 towards the Northern Beaches. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. You must get off at the 'Tolga' stop. Once you get off the bus, The Humpy is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head north on Kennedy Highway, and you will find The Humpy at 1 Kennedy Hwy, Tolga QLD 4882.

Walking to The Humpy from Cairns is quite a long trek and might not be advisable. However, if you are determined, you can walk towards the Cairns Esplanade and follow the signs towards the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Continue on this path until you reach Tolga. This is an extensive walk of around 30 kilometers, which could take several hours, so be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks.
