Getting There

Walking
From the center of Port Douglas, start at Macrossan Street, which is the main street. Head south towards the beach, taking a left onto Wharf Street. Continue walking until you reach the end of Wharf Street, where it meets the beach at the end of the road. You will see the beautiful 4 Mile Beach ahead of you. To reach the lookout, walk along the beach heading east towards the end of the beach. The lookout is situated at the northern end of 4 Mile Beach, and you will find a walking path leading up to it which provides stunning views along the way.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in Port Douglas. Once you have your bicycle, head towards Macrossan Street, then take a left onto Wharf Street leading you to the beach. Cycle along the beachfront pathway heading east. Follow the path until you reach the northern end of 4 Mile Beach where you will find the entrance to the lookout. Most rentals cost around AUD 20-30 for a half day.
