Getting There

  • Walking

    From the centre of Manuka, head west on Franklin Street towards the Manuka Oval. Continue straight onto Manuka Circle. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Barrenjoey Drive. Turn left onto Barrenjoey Drive. The National Rock Garden is about 1 kilometer down this road on your right. It should take approximately 15-20 minutes to walk.

    Walk to the nearest bus stop located on Manuka Circle. Catch the ACTION Bus route 2, 3, or 4 that heads towards the city. Get off at the stop at 'Canberra Grammar School'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk: head west towards Barrenjoey Drive, turn left, and you'll find the National Rock Garden on your right. The bus fare is approximately AUD 4.50 for a single trip.
