If you're driving from Central Victoria, head towards Melbourne on the Calder Freeway (M79). Follow signs for the M80 Ring Road towards the city. Once you enter the city, take the exit for the City Centre and merge onto the Western Ring Road (M2). Keep following the signs for the city centre, and exit at Footscray Road. Continue along Footscray Road, then turn right onto La Trobe Street. Follow La Trobe Street, then turn left onto Cohen Place. The Museum of Chinese Australian History will be on your left at 22 Cohen Place. Parking may be available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

Trains frequently run to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Once you arrive at Southern Cross Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop. Take Tram 35 (the City Circle Tram) or Tram 19 towards North Coburg. Get off at the stop on La Trobe Street at the intersection with Cohen Place. Walk a short distance down Cohen Place, and you will find the Museum at 22 Cohen Place. Be sure to check for the current train and tram schedules, as well as any ticket costs you may incur.
