If you are traveling by car, start from any point in Central West and head towards Melbourne. Use the Hume Highway (M31) for the most direct route. Follow the signs for Melbourne and take the exit onto the Tullamarine Freeway (M2) towards the city. As you approach Melbourne, take the exit towards the CityLink toll road (M1). Note that there will be toll fees when using CityLink. Once you reach the CBD, follow the signs for Flinders Street. There is limited parking available nearby, so consider parking at one of the public car parks in the vicinity.
