Melbourne River Cruises: See the City from the Yarra
Discover Melbourne's beauty from a unique perspective with a relaxing cruise along the Yarra River. Sightseeing and dining options available.
Melbourne River Cruises has been showcasing the city and its Yarra River landmarks to locals and tourists since 1981. Founded by Peter Ganditis Senior, the company was inspired by a vision to showcase Melbourne's beauty from the Yarra River. What started with the Yarra Princess, the first vessel to accommodate over 100 passengers, has expanded to a fleet of seven vessels, each offering unique and unforgettable experiences on the water. Cruises pass through four major precincts within the Yarra River touring area: sports, parks & gardens, leisure, and maritime. Choose from a variety of cruises, including the Ports and Docklands Cruise, which meanders past Melbourne CBD and Victoria Docks, or the River Gardens Cruise, which passes by Federation Square and the Royal Botanic Gardens. For a longer experience, combine both tours or take the City to Williamstown ferry to explore the historic first sea port of Melbourne. Melbourne River Cruises is dedicated to a sustainable future and enhancing the community's social, economic, and environmental well-being. The company has won multiple tourism awards, including a place in the Hall of Fame and Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards in 2023 and 2024.
