From Bathurst, take the Great Western Highway (A32) heading south. After approximately 35 km, turn right onto the O'Connell Road and follow it for about 20 km. Turn left onto the Abercrombie Road and continue for another 25 km until you reach the intersection with Yerranderie Road. Turn right onto Yerranderie Road and follow it for about 20 km until you arrive at Yerranderie Private Town. There are no entry fees for the town, but ensure you have a full tank of petrol as services are limited.

Take a train from Sydney to Mittagong station. Once you arrive at Mittagong, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service, as public transport directly to Yerranderie is limited. The taxi ride will take approximately 1 hour and may cost around AUD 100-150 one way. Make sure to arrange your taxi in advance, as there may be limited availability.

For those coming from Lithgow, proceed south via the Great Western Highway (A32) and turn onto the Capertee Road. Continue until you reach the intersection with the Glen Alice Road, then follow Glen Alice Road, which will lead you to Yerranderie via a more scenic but rough route. A 4WD vehicle is recommended for this journey due to the unsealed roads. Ensure your vehicle is equipped for this terrain.
