Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Bathurst, New South Wales, which is the nearest city to Wahluu / Mount Panorama. From the center of Bathurst, drive approximately 6 kilometers south on the Great Western Highway (A32). As you approach Mount Panorama, look for signs directing you to the Mount Panorama Circuit. There are various car parks available near the top and bottom of the mountain. Please note that during special events and race days, parking may incur a fee, and spaces can be limited.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Wahluu / Mount Panorama via public transport, you can take a train to Bathurst from Sydney or other nearby towns. Once you arrive at Bathurst station, you can catch a local bus (Bus Route 2) that will take you to Mount Panorama. The bus runs approximately every 30 minutes. Check the current bus schedules, as they may vary, especially on weekends. The fare is typically around $3-$5 AUD, depending on the distance.

• Walking

  If you are already in Bathurst and prefer walking, it is about a 6-kilometer walk from the city center to the base of Mount Panorama. Follow the Great Western Highway (A32) southbound, then turn onto Mount Panorama Drive. This scenic walk will take you through the local area and offers beautiful views along the way. Ensure to wear comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated, especially on warm days.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, Wahluu / Mount Panorama is accessible by bicycle. There are bike paths leading from Bathurst to the base of Mount Panorama. The ride is approximately 6 kilometers and offers a mix of flat and hilly terrain. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all road rules. You may also want to check for any local bike rental services if you do not have your own bike.
