    If you are traveling by car, start by heading southeast on the major road in Central West towards Melbourne. Merge onto the M4 motorway, which will take you directly into the city. Once you reach the city, follow signs for the West Gate Freeway (M1) towards Port Melbourne. Take the exit toward Citylink and continue on the West Gate Freeway until you reach the exit for Montague Street/Port Melbourne. Follow Montague Street until you reach Bay Street, then turn left. Continue until you reach Pier Street. Princes Pier will be on your left. Be aware that parking may incur fees depending on the time of day and location.

    For those using public transport, start your journey at the nearest train station in Central West. Take a train towards Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. From Southern Cross, transfer to the light rail service (Route 109) towards Port Melbourne. Alight at the 'North Port' stop. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to Princes Pier.
