    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from the Kingfisher Bay Resort, head north on the main road towards the beach. After approximately 15 km, you will reach the eastern side of Fraser Island. Turn right onto the 75 Mile Beach. Continue driving along the beach for about 20 km. Beach camping zone 3 - Poyungan and Winnam will be on your left, marked by signs. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for beach driving, and be aware of tidal times for safety.

    Public Transport and Walking

    While there are limited public transport options directly to Beach camping zone 3, you can take a bus from Rainbow Beach to the ferry terminal at Inskip Point. From the ferry, take the ferry to Fraser Island. Once on the island, you may need to rent a 4WD vehicle from the ferry terminal or nearby rental services. After securing your vehicle, head north on the main road, then turn onto the beach to reach your destination.
