Getting There

  • Bus

    Start your journey at the Gold Coast transit station. Take the G:Link tram towards Helensvale and get off at the Helensvale station. From there, transfer to bus route 700 towards Tweed Heads. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Evans Head-Broadwater Road. This should take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you disembark, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers down Evans Head-Broadwater Road to reach the entrance of Broadwater National Park.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Surfers Paradise. Head north on the Gold Coast Highway until you reach the junction with Evans Head-Broadwater Road. Continue along this road until you arrive at Broadwater National Park. The ride is about 15 kilometers and should take around 1 hour, depending on your cycling speed.

    For those who enjoy a long walk, you can start from Surfers Paradise and head south along the beach promenade towards Broadwater Parklands.
