To reach the museum via public transport from Sydney, take a train to Moss Vale, followed by the 810 bus to Kangaroo Valley. Alight near the Kangaroo Valley Public School on Moss Vale Road, a short walk from the museum. The bus trip from Moss Vale to Kangaroo Valley is approximately 30 minutes. A one-way bus fare is around $4 - $6.
