From there, it’s a brief 5-minute walk south on Birdwood Avenue to reach La Trobe's Cottage located at the intersection of Birdwood Ave and Dallas Brooks Dr.
Train
From Flinders Street Station, board the train on the Pakenham or Cranbourne line. Get off at Jolimont Station. Upon exiting the station, walk east towards Wellington Parade, then catch Tram 75 heading towards Vermont South. Get off at 'Wellington Parade/Clarendon Street', then transfer to Tram 48 and get off at 'Birdwood Avenue/Dallas Brooks Drive'. La Trobe's Cottage will be a short 5-minute walk from there, heading south on Birdwood Avenue.
