If you're driving from Mornington Peninsula, take the Nepean Highway (A420) north towards the city of Melbourne. Continue on the Nepean Highway until you reach the intersection with the Frankston-Flinders Road (C777). Take the exit towards Sorrento and follow the signs for the Sorrento Ferry. Once you reach Sorrento, take the ferry to Queenscliff, which will allow you to enjoy scenic views of the bay. The ferry ride costs approximately $22.50 AUD per adult and $12.50 AUD per child. After disembarking at Queenscliff, follow the signs towards Symonds Street. The Bellarine Railway - Queenscliff Station is located at 20 Symonds St, just a short drive from the ferry terminal.
