Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, head towards Point Nepean National Park. From Melbourne, take the M1 freeway towards Frankston, then exit onto the Mornington Peninsula Freeway (M11). Follow the M11 until it merges into Point Nepean Road. Continue on Point Nepean Road until you reach the entrance of the national park. You'll need to pay an entry fee for the park, which is approximately AUD 16 per vehicle. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Coleman Rd. The Quarantine Station is located at Coleman Rd, Portsea VIC 3944.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take a train from Melbourne to Frankston station. From Frankston, catch the 783 bus towards Portsea. Ensure you check the current bus schedule as it may vary. Get off the bus at the Portsea village stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to reach the Quarantine Station along Point Nepean Road. Please wear comfortable shoes, as the walk involves some uneven terrain. Note that there is a fee for entry into the national park once you arrive.
