Car
From Mount Wellington, head towards Huon Road (A6) and follow the signs to Hobart. Continue on Huon Road for approximately 6 km. Turn right onto Degraves Street. The Cascades Female Factory Historic Site will be on your left at 16 Degraves Street. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach the Cascades Female Factory via public transport, take the Metro Tasmania bus route 40 from the Hobart city center. The bus departs from Elizabeth Street Bus Mall. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop for Degraves Street. The historic site is a short walk (approximately 5 minutes) from the bus stop, heading down Degraves Street.

If you are already in South Hobart, you can walk to the Cascades Female Factory. From the South Hobart shops, head south on Macquarie Street, then turn left onto Degraves Street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Cascades Female Factory at 16 Degraves Street.
