Walking

If you're feeling adventurous and are staying in a nearby area, you can walk to Thornton Beach. Start at the intersection of Macrossan Street and Wharf Street, and head towards the Four Mile Beach. Walk along the beach until you reach the northern end, then take the scenic path that leads towards the rainforest area.
