If you are driving from the Gold Coast, take the Pacific Motorway (M1) heading south. Exit onto the Gold Coast Highway (State Route 2) at Exit 95 towards Tugun. Continue on this highway for approximately 10 kilometers. You will see the 'Welcome to Queensland' sign just before entering Tugun, located on the left side of the highway. There is parking available nearby for a quick photo opportunity.

To reach the 'Welcome to Queensland' sign via public transport, take a train from Brisbane to Varsity Lakes station. From Varsity Lakes, catch a bus (Route 700 or 760) towards Tweed Heads. Get off at the Tugun stop on Gold Coast Highway. The sign is a short walk from the bus stop, located just a few minutes away on the same highway, easily visible as you approach.
