If you're driving from central Sydney, take the M1 Pacific Motorway towards Wahroonga. Continue on the M1 for about 25 kilometers. Take the exit towards Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and follow the signs to the park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the signs for the Boonga Heritage Walk. There is a small parking area available near the start of the trail, and parking fees may apply, so keep some coins handy.

Take a train from Sydney Central Station to Hornsby Station on the North Shore Line. From Hornsby Station, transfer to bus 591 towards Akuna Bay.
