Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the Sydney CBD, take the Eastern Distributor (M1) and follow signs to the South Head. Merge onto New South Head Road and continue until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Old South Head Road. Continue straight for about 5 km, then turn left onto Military Road. Follow Military Road until you reach the turnoff for Chinamans Beach, which will be on your right. There is limited street parking available near the beach.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Circular Quay, take the bus route 324 towards Watsons Bay. The bus will take you along scenic roads through the Eastern Suburbs. Get off at the stop called 'Chinamans Beach' (stop number 232). The bus journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Ensure you have an Opal card, which you can purchase at any convenience store or train station, as this will be required for the bus fare.
