Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From the Sydney Central Station, take the T1 North Shore & Northern Line train towards Hornsby. Get off at Circular Quay Station. From Circular Quay, transfer to the ferry service and take the ferry to Manly. Once you arrive at Manly Wharf, exit the ferry terminal and walk towards Manly Beach. Head along the beachfront promenade until you reach the end of the beach. From there, follow the road up to The Corso. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Balgowlah Road and turn left. Follow Balgowlah Road, which merges into Sydney Road, and continue walking until you reach the entrance to Sydney Harbour National Park. Once inside, follow the walking paths leading to the Arabanoo Lookout.

  • Bus

    From the Sydney Central Station, catch the bus number 135 or 139 from the bus stop at Eddy Avenue, which is near the station. The bus will take you to Balgowlah Heights. Get off at the stop closest to the entrance of Sydney Harbour National Park. From there, follow the signs leading to the Arabanoo Lookout. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes, so be prepared for a scenic stroll through the park.

    If you are already in Manly, make your way to the Manly Wharf, and then head towards the beach. Walk along the beachfront promenade until you reach the end of the beach. You can take the scenic route by walking along the coastal path, which will lead you up to the Balgowlah Heights area. Once you reach the main road, follow it towards the entrance of Sydney Harbour National Park. The Arabanoo Lookout is well signposted from the park entrance, making it easy to find.
