Public Transport
Start your journey from the Sydney Central Station. Take the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line train towards Bondi Junction. Alight at Circular Quay Station. From Circular Quay, walk to the ferry terminal and catch the ferry to Taronga Zoo. This ferry ride offers stunning views of the Sydney Harbour and only takes about 12 minutes. Once you arrive at Taronga Zoo, exit the ferry and follow the signs to the zoo entrance. Continue walking along the path towards Bradleys Head.

Once you reach Bradleys Head, you can start the Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay walk. The walk is well-marked with signs and takes you along the scenic coastline, offering beautiful views of the harbour and the city. Follow the path that leads you past the historic Bradleys Head Fort and down towards Chowder Bay. The walk is approximately 1.5 km one way and is suitable for all fitness levels. Enjoy the various lookout points along the way.

Public Transport
Alternatively, if you prefer to start from Mosman, take the bus from Wynyard Station to Mosman. Board the bus number 247 towards Mosman and alight at the stop near Spit Junction. From there, it's a short walk to Bradleys Head. Follow the signs for the Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay walk.

Return Journey
After enjoying your time at Chowder Bay, you can either return the same way along the walking track or catch a bus from Chowder Bay back to Mosman or Taronga Zoo, depending on your previous route. If returning to Taronga Zoo, take bus number 244 back to Spit Junction and then catch the bus back to Wynyard Station to complete your trip.
