The State Library of New South Wales will be on your right at 1 Shakespeare Pl.

Find a bus stop nearby and check for buses that go to the City Centre or Circular Quay. Buses 333, 380, or any bus heading towards the CBD will take you to the vicinity of the State Library. You can alight at the stop on Macquarie Street near the Sydney Hospital. From there, walk towards Shakespeare Place by heading down Macquarie Street, then turn left onto Shakespeare Place. The library will be on your left.

If you are near a light rail station, take the light rail towards Circular Quay. Alight at the Martin Place stop. From Martin Place, walk north along Macquarie Street until you reach the intersection with Shakespeare Place. Turn right onto Shakespeare Place, and the State Library of New South Wales will be on your left at 1 Shakespeare Pl.

If you are already in the city center, you can walk to the State Library of New South Wales. Locate Elizabeth Street and head towards the south until you reach a junction with Park Street. Turn left onto Park Street and continue straight. After a few blocks, turn left onto Shakespeare Place. The library will be right in front of you at 1 Shakespeare Pl.
