Walking
From The Rocks, head towards George Street. Walk along George Street until you reach the intersection with Argyle Street. Turn left onto Argyle Street and continue walking until you reach the end of Argyle Street. At the end, turn right onto Upper Fort Street. Sydney Observatory will be on your left at 1003 Upper Fort Street. The entire walk should take approximately 15 minutes.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a bus from The Rocks. Head to the nearest bus stop located on George Street. Look for the bus routes that have stops at the 'Observatory' or 'Miller's Point' stops. The bus fare is generally around AUD 3.50 - AUD 5.00 depending on the time of travel and distance. After disembarking at the appropriate stop, walk back towards Upper Fort Street, and Sydney Observatory will be a short walk away.
