Car
If you're traveling by car, the most common route to Devil's Gullet Lookout is to start from Launceston. Drive on the A1 highway towards Devonport, and then take the B51 towards the Central Plateau. Continue on the B51 until you reach the C175 road, which leads directly to Devil's Gullet Lookout Track. There is a car park at the start of the walking track. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Launceston to the nearby town of Miena. Check local bus schedules as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Miena, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to the Devil's Gullet Lookout Track, as public transport does not go directly to the lookout. The taxi ride from Miena to the lookout is approximately 15 minutes.
Walking
From the car park at Devil's Gullet Lookout Track, you will need to complete a short walk to reach the lookout. The track is approximately 1.5 kilometers each way and is rated as moderate. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water, as the track may be steep in some parts.
