Car
If you are driving from Devonport, take the Bass Highway (A1) heading south. After about 25 km, take the exit towards the B17 towards Gunns Plains. Follow the B17 for approximately 15 km until you reach Gunns Plains. Once in Gunns Plains, turn onto Cave Road. The caves are located at 46 Cave Rd, Gunns Plains TAS 7315. Parking is available on-site.
Car
If you are coming from Launceston, take the Midland Highway (A1) south until you reach the Bass Highway (A1). Head west on the Bass Highway, and follow the same directions as above from Devonport to Gunns Plains.
Public Transportation
Public transport options are limited in Tasmania, but you can take a bus from Devonport or Launceston to Burnie. From Burnie, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Gunns Plains Caves, which is approximately a 25-minute drive from Burnie. Ensure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may not run frequently.

If you are in Burnie, you can use a local taxi service or rideshare apps like Uber to get to Gunns Plains Caves. The fare from Burnie to the caves will vary, so check the app for an estimate. It's about a 25-minute ride, and this option provides convenience if public transportation does not suit your schedule.
