If you're driving from Launceston, take the A1 highway towards Hobart. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit onto the B51 towards Deloraine. Continue on the B51 for about 35 kilometers until you reach the town of Deloraine. From Deloraine, take the B54 road towards Liffey. Follow the signs for Liffey Falls State Reserve, which will direct you onto Liffey Falls Track. The parking area is located near the start of the walking track.

To reach Liffey Falls using public transportation, you can take a bus from Launceston to Deloraine. Check the local bus schedules, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Deloraine, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Liffey Falls, as public transport does not directly reach the falls. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they know the location of Liffey Falls Track.

If you are traveling from Devonport, head southeast on the Bass Highway (A1) for about 60 kilometers, then take the exit towards the B51 road to Deloraine. Follow the B51 for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach Deloraine. From Deloraine, take the B54 road towards Liffey. Look for signs for Liffey Falls State Reserve and follow Liffey Falls Track to the parking area.
