If you are driving, head towards Miena from Hobart or Launceston. From Hobart, take the Midlands Highway (A1) towards Campbell Town. Continue on the A1 for approximately 100 km. At Campbell Town, turn onto the B41 road (Lake Leake Highway) and follow it until you reach the junction with the A5. Take a left onto the A5 and continue until you reach Miena. The Miena Dam Lookout is located at 7562 Highland Lakes Rd, Miena TAS 7030. Look for signage indicating the lookout as you approach.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transport, you can take a bus from either Hobart or Launceston to the nearest town, Bothwell. From Bothwell, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you the remaining 30 km to Miena. Public transport options may be limited, so checking the current bus schedules in advance is advisable. Note that taxi services might incur additional costs.
