Car
To reach Myrtle Gully Falls by car, start from Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania. Head west on the Brooker Highway (A7) for approximately 10 km. Take the exit towards South Hobart and follow the signs for Wellington Park. Continue on Huon Road (B64) for about 3 km, then turn left onto Myrtle Gully Track. Follow Myrtle Gully Track for another 2 km until you reach the car park area. Note: Parking is free, but be mindful of the weather and road conditions, as they can change rapidly.

If you prefer public transportation, catch a Metro bus from Hobart to South Hobart (check Metro Tasmania's website for the latest schedule). From the South Hobart stop, you will need to walk approximately 3 km along Huon Road (B64) towards Myrtle Gully Track. After reaching Myrtle Gully Track, walk approximately another 2 km up the road to the car park area for Myrtle Gully Falls. It is advisable to wear good walking shoes as the walk can be steep and uneven in parts.

Once at the car park, you can access the Myrtle Gully Falls hiking track. The trail is about 1 km long and takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to walk one way, depending on your pace.
