Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the Ayers Rock Resort (Yulara). Head east on Yulara Drive, then take a left onto the Lasseter Highway (National Route 87). After about 20 kilometers, take the exit for Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. You will need to pay a park entry fee upon arrival at the park entrance (approximately AUD 25 per adult, valid for 3 days). Once inside the park, follow the signs for the Mutitjulu area. The Liru Track starts near the Mutitjulu Waterhole, which is about a 10-minute drive from the park entrance. There is parking available at the waterhole.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, there are bus services available from Ayers Rock Resort to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The 'Ayers Rock Resort Shuttle' can take you to the park entrance. Ensure to check the schedule ahead of time, as services may vary. Once at the park entrance, you will still need to pay the park entry fee of approximately AUD 25 per adult. From the park entrance, you will have to take a guided tour or arrange for a taxi to reach the Mutitjulu Waterhole, where the Liru Track begins. It's advisable to book your shuttle in advance and inquire about local taxi services.

If you are already in the Mutitjulu area, you can walk to the Liru Track from the Mutitjulu Waterhole. The track starts at the waterhole and is well-marked.
