If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Portland in Western Victoria. From Portland, take the Glenelg Highway (A1) towards the east. After about 20 kilometers, turn onto Bridgewater Road (C222) and follow the signs to Cape Bridgewater. Once in Cape Bridgewater, continue until you reach the Petrified Forest, located at the end of the Cape Bridgewater Road. Parking is available near the attraction.

From Portland, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Cape Bridgewater, as there are no direct public transport options. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around AUD 50-70.
