If you are driving from any location in Yarra Valley, make your way towards the Maroondah Highway (B300). Head northeast on the Maroondah Highway towards Marysville. Continue on the highway for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Marysville. In Marysville, follow the signs to Lake Mountain, which will direct you to Lake Mountain Road. Continue on Lake Mountain Road for about 13 kilometers until you arrive at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort located at 1071 Lake Mountain Rd, Marysville VIC 3779. Ensure your vehicle is equipped for mountain driving, especially during winter months, as snow may be present. Parking at the resort is generally free, but check for any seasonal fees or requirements.

To reach Lake Mountain Alpine Resort using public transport, start by taking a train from Melbourne to Lilydale Station. From Lilydale, catch a bus to Healesville (Bus Service: 686). In Healesville, transfer to another bus to Marysville (Bus Service: 685). Once you arrive in Marysville, you will need to take a taxi or a rideshare service to reach Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, as there is no direct public transport to the resort from Marysville.
