Car
If you're traveling by car from Central West, start by taking the Great Western Highway (A32) towards Melbourne. Continue on the A32 until you reach the junction with the M7 Motorway. Merge onto the M7 Motorway and follow the signs towards Ringwood. From Ringwood, take the Maroondah Highway (B300) towards Healesville. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Yarra Ranges National Park. The entrance to the park is located on Lockwood Rd, Reefton. Make sure to check for any parking fees at the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Yarra Ranges National Park via public transport, start by taking a train from Central West to Melbourne. You will need to catch a train to Southern Cross Station. From Southern Cross, transfer to a train heading towards Lilydale. Once you arrive in Lilydale, you can catch a bus (Route 685) that goes directly to Healesville. From Healesville, you will need to take a taxi or a rideshare service to reach the entrance of Yarra Ranges National Park on Lockwood Rd, Reefton. Note that public transport fares will apply for both the train and bus rides.

Combination (Car and Bus)
For those who prefer to drive part of the way, you can drive to Lilydale and park your car at the Lilydale station. From there, take the train to Healesville and then a taxi to Yarra Ranges National Park. This option allows you to enjoy a scenic train ride while also having the flexibility of your car for the last leg of the journey. Ensure you have cash or a card for taxi fares.
