Car
If you are traveling by car, navigate to the A22 motorway and take the exit for Brixen/Bressanone. Follow the signs towards Val di Funes/Funes Valley and continue on the SS49 road. You will pass through beautiful landscapes until you reach the town of San Candido/Innichen. From San Candido, follow the signs for the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks) via the SP49 road. There is a parking fee of approximately €30 for the parking area at Rifugio Auronzo, which serves as a great starting point for hiking.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from your location in East Tyrol to San Candido/Innichen. From the train station, catch the bus number 445 towards the Auronzo di Cadore. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they can vary by season. The bus will take you to the parking area at Rifugio Auronzo. Note that there may be a small fee for the bus ticket, usually around €6-€10 for a one-way trip.

Once you arrive at Rifugio Auronzo, you can start your hiking adventure. There are various trails available that lead to breathtaking views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
