Casino Zögernitz: A Luxurious Retreat in Vienna

Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Eisenstadt, make your way to the Eisenstadt train station (Eisenstadt Bahnhof). You can walk there in about 10 minutes from the city center. Once at the station, take a train towards Vienna (Wien). The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Get off at the station Wien-Mitte. From there, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U4 (green line) in the direction of Heiligenstadt. Ride for about 10 stops (approximately 15 minutes) and get off at the station Spittelau. Here, transfer to the S-Bahn (commuter train) line S45 towards Handelskai. Get off at the stop Nussdorf. Finally, from Nussdorf, either take a short taxi ride or walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Casino Zögernitz at Döblinger Hauptstraße 76.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Eisenstadt. Start your journey by heading towards the main exit of Eisenstadt and follow the cycling path towards Vienna. This route is approximately 30 kilometers and will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Vienna, navigate towards Döblinger Hauptstraße, where you will find Casino Zögernitz at number 76. Make sure to follow the bike lanes and traffic rules for a safe ride.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the center of Eisenstadt, head towards the Eisenstadt train station, and then take the train to Wien-Mitte as described above. After reaching Wien-Mitte, take the U-Bahn line U4 to Spittelau, then switch to S-Bahn line S45 to Nussdorf. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to Casino Zögernitz at Döblinger Hauptstraße 76. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the entire journey could take several hours.
