Bus
From Eisenstadt's main train station (Eisenstadt Bahnhof), walk to the bus stop located directly outside the station. Take bus line 200 towards 'Wien' (Vienna). Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Karlsplatz' stop in Vienna. Once you exit the bus, head towards the 'U-Bahn' (subway) station at Karlsplatz. Follow the signs to the 'U1' line (red line) and board the train heading towards 'Stephansplatz'. After 2 stops, get off at 'Stephansplatz' station. From the station, walk towards the south exit and continue straight onto Graben street. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will reach Desider-Friedmann-Platz.
Train and Tram
From Eisenstadt's main train station (Eisenstadt Bahnhof), take a train to Vienna's main station (Wien Hauptbahnhof). The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Wien Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the 'U-Bahn' (subway) station located within the train station. Take the 'U1' (red line) towards 'Stephansplatz'. Once you arrive at 'Stephansplatz', exit the station and head towards the south exit. Walk straight on Graben street for about 10 minutes until you reach Desider-Friedmann-Platz.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Eisenstadt. Head towards the main road (B50) and follow the signs directing you towards Vienna. The route is approximately 20 kilometers. Once you reach Vienna, continue towards the city center. As you approach the Innere Stadt area, look for signs directing you to Desider-Friedmann-Platz. There are bike lanes along the way and bike parking available near the square.
