Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from Gastein Valley, head towards Bad Gastein and take the B167 towards Berchtesgaden. After approximately 30 km, follow the signs for Kehlsteinhaus. You will reach the parking area at the base of the mountain. Note that parking is available, but there is a fee of around €4 for the day. From the parking area, you must take a shuttle bus that operates to the Eagle's Nest. The bus ticket costs approximately €30 round trip, which includes the access to the mountain road.

    For those using public transportation, take a train from Bad Gastein to Berchtesgaden. The train journey takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at Berchtesgaden train station, you can take bus number 838 towards Kehlsteinhaus. The bus runs regularly, and the fare is around €3. Once you get off the bus at the designated stop, you will need to transfer to the shuttle bus that takes you up to the Eagle's Nest. The shuttle bus fare is included in the ticket purchased on the lower bus.
