Getting There

    From anywhere in the Karwendel Mountains, drive towards Innsbruck. The most common route is via the A12 Autobahn. Take the exit towards Innsbruck and follow the signs for Innsbruck Zentrum. Once you reach the city, follow the signs for Hungerburg. You can park at the Hungerburgbahn station. Note that parking may incur a fee.

  • Public Transportation

    If you're using public transport, take a train or bus to Innsbruck. From the Innsbruck train station, you can take tram line 1 towards 'Igls' and get off at 'Hungerburg'. From the Hungerburg tram stop, you can either walk to the Nordkette cable car station or take a brief walk to the Hungerburgbahn station. The ticket for the tram will cost around €2.40.
