The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. You will need to transfer at Mühldorf am Inn. Once you arrive at Mühldorf am Inn, change to the train heading to Burghausen. This leg of the journey takes about 10 minutes. After arriving at Burghausen station, exit the train station and walk approximately 1.5 kilometers towards the town center, following signs to the castle.

From Salzburg, head to the Salzburg South Bus Station (Busbahnhof Salzburg Süd). You can reach this station by tram (Line 3 or 6) from the city center. At Salzburg South Bus Station, take the bus to Burghausen. The bus ride typically takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Burghausen, follow signs to the castle, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
