    Getting There

    Walking

    From Salzburg Cathedral (Dom zu Salzburg), walk southeast on Domplatz toward Kapitelplatz. Continue onto Kapitelplatz, then turn left onto Universitätsstraße. Walk for about 5 minutes, and Universitätsplatz will be on your right. This area is known for its beautiful architecture and lively atmosphere with cafes and shops.

    Public Transport

    From Salzburg Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), take bus number 2 or 8 toward 'Salzburg, St. Julian' or 'Salzburg, Aigen'. Get off at the 'Universität' stop. Walk straight for about 5 minutes toward Universitätsplatz, which will be on your right. A single ticket costs approximately €2.50.

    Parking

    If driving, several parking garages are available near Universitätsplatz, including Altstadtgarage and Mirabellplatz garage. Altstadtgarage is about a 3-minute walk to the Old Town. Parking costs around €1.50 per hour. Be aware that parking can be limited and expensive, especially during peak tourist season.
