    Walking

    If you are starting from the historic Old Town (Altstadt), head towards the Salzach River. Walk along the riverbank towards the south until you reach the Makartsteg bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will see a beautiful view of the fortress. After crossing, continue straight on the road until you reach Ferdinand-Hanusch-Platz, which is a small public square surrounded by cafes and shops.
