Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from Salzburg's historic Old Town (Altstadt), head towards the Getreidegasse, which is just a few blocks away. Walk southeast down the Getreidegasse until you reach the junction with the Linzer Gasse. Turn left onto Linzer Gasse, and continue walking for about 5 minutes. Linzer Gasse Platzl will be on your right, marked by a small square with benches and nearby shops.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Mirabell Palace (Mirabellgarten), take bus number 5 or 6 from the bus stop near the main entrance of the gardens. Ride for 3 stops, and get off at the 'Linzer Gasse' stop. After exiting the bus, walk a short distance back towards Linzer Gasse, and you will find Linzer Gasse Platzl ahead on your right.

  • Walking from the Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof)
