If driving from Mondsee, head towards Unterach and turn right at Burgau. Parking is available near the former Hotel Kreuzstein. Note that parking might be limited during peak times. Parking is also available at Landesbadeplatz. From the parking area, follow the signs directly to the waterfall. There are free public car parks available near the starting point of the hike.

From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a train to Thalgau. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. From Thalgau railway station, take a local bus towards Kreuzstein Waterfall. Check local bus schedules. Get off at the nearest bus stop and follow the marked hiking paths to the waterfall. A short hike is required to reach the site. Bus fare is approximately €3.50.
