Getting There

  • Car

    From Ramsau am Dachstein, follow the Dachsteinstraße (toll road) towards the Dachstein Glacier cable car valley station. The 5.5 km toll road is free for cable car users. Validate your toll ticket at the mountain station to avoid charges. Parking is available at the valley station. Expect to pay around €20 for the toll road if you do not use the cable car. Parking is free at the lift.

  • Public Transport

    From Schladming, take the RVB Glacier Shuttlebus to the Dachstein Valley Station. The bus is free for guests with a Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard. If you do not have a Sommercard, you will have to pay for the toll road on the bus. At the Dachstein Valley Station you will get this money back. Alternatively, take bus line 900/901 or 960 to the Türlwandhütte stop. From there, it's a short walk to the cable car station.

  • Cable Car

    Purchase a ticket for the Dachstein Panorama Gondola. A combi-ticket, starting from € 60.50 for adults, includes ascent and descent, access to the Suspension Bridge, Stairway to Nothingness, and other attractions. A fixed seat booking is recommended and costs an additional €2.90. The ride to the top station takes about 10 minutes.
